Lingnan Culture and The Art of Potted Landscape

Cantonese culture, or Lingnan culture, refers to the regional Chinese culture of the region of Lingnan: twin provinces of Guangdong and Guangxi. Potted landscape is a living art form that uses trees grown in containers with rocks and other materials to create the representation of natural landscapes in miniature. Lingnan culture presents the beauty of nature through potted landscapes.

Physically, it consists of the history of tea cultivation, brewing, serving techniques, methods of consumption, arts, and the tea ceremony. Tea culture also has non-physical aspects such as symbolic, spiritual, religious, psychological, and social.
